    Got a mail from them (ss7) a couple of days ago.
    Dont know if its a standard thing, or if just me.

    Not a job offer e-mail, just a mail saying they were looking for people over the next few months and that I should apply for the job.
    I’d applied (and failed) before with them, so dont know if its thier HR department looking at previous applicatants that they were interested in, or if its just a automatically generated from previous applcants.

    I know I have the background the industry is looking for (apart from not being aberdeen area based), so was just a general enquiry as not had it happen before.

    ok apart from the exam.
    Glad I wasn’t the only one struggling with it 🙄

    Was interesting to hear that they were looking for 30 people though from the 3 days of interviews.
    If monday was anything to go by, about 25 people a day interviewing, so quite good odds

    Still no news?

    I was in afternoon session Monday 20th
    Never left Ss7 building till 20.15 after the interview
    Was pleased with the day! Enjoyed being back on the
    Simulator,hoping I get a chance back on the sticks for real. just hope I did enuf….wasnt asked anything Regarding my test,loved the paper rustling whilst we all tried to find multiple choice section!!! That wasnt there!!! Lol but was told seems like you know your stuff ( or was it too late in the day and they wanted to be off home. Lol) still I managed to chat subsea stuff about past and hope it was Enuf.
    Met some good lads and hope to see some of them again!

    The HR girly (Jill) said 7 working days for notifications.
    So should hear between Tuesday and Friday(depending if they waited for all interviews to complete), as no bank holiday in Scotland.

    I got offered a job by Jill yesterday morning, saying I’d be in the first group, 4-6 weeks! Well chuffed

    Got the good news Tuesday morning. After 2 years being unemployed, the wife’s more excited than I am (and already earmarked the wages).

    Cant wait to see what ROV’s are like in the flesh, rather than just the web info.

    BTW Don, what trade are you mostly, out of interest?
    Im electrical/electronic

    Good news that Paul eh?
    I’m hoping that they put us on Salary n not day rate, gotta be more beneficial!!
    Was anything discussed about courses, offshore Certs ect?
