A wee word of advice, try applying to some companies to get a job! Try putting in a search on the web to start with.Nothing falls into your lap these days mate. That took me all of 60 seconds. All very taxing!!!

    Orion70,

I seem to remember you have been trying for over a year now to get a job offshore without any success. Have you been applying to companies and what reasons have they been giving for turning you down?

Maybe you need to either look at your CV or if you need to get some more experience/qualifications in order to make yourself more desirable to them.

There’s not much call for rigging work on ROV’s these days 🙁
except for the odd Grimsby or splicing the rope together .
Try a shipping company or Diving company 🙂
