Sonsub Agency Rate Increases

Got this in an email yesterday

I want to take this opportunity to inform you of recent rate changes at Sonsub (Saipem) across all contract roles.

As examples, the basic rate for Senior Pilot/Techs has risen from £405pd to £450pd.

For Supervisors, this rate has risen from £445 to £490pd. Of course, this all adds up over the course of a week/month.

There are still ongoing requirements for Sonsub and many more to come live in the coming weeks (multiple locations) so should you be open to discussing these roles and the new rates, please do get in touch and we can speak in more detail.

I like the "this all adds up over the course of a week/month". Golly gosh what a novel concept.

Who knows Fugro might increase the day rate next but don’t count on it and so the flood of requirements from the agency’s goes day day after day .

Same last year and the year before .

Is that the true amount of day rate for those positions? Bit less than what gets quoted elsewhere.

if those rates are true ,,, why is it the agencies are trying to get people out for much less , dont let them short change you

…and take note;
These are basic rates.

You do not have to accept these (they are low…still).

I know from experience that the rates CAN be negotiated up, to reflect the market rates.
