    Some operators in the Persian gulf are now reccomending to Seaeye ROV techs that Seaeye thrusters, especially SM7 should only be oil filled to 50% mark to prevent warm oil expansion blowing the seals ,, I cant see any Seaeye data sheets as to wether this is an official mod for use in very warm water and shallow seas ,
    It does seem a good idea as its not uncommon for this problem to happen in the hot water of the gulf .

    whats your opinion guys is this a sensible precaution or myth ?????
