Function description
For a project in the Gulf of Mexico we are looking urgently for a 2nd Officer and ROV pilot with DPO certificate. Experience in offshore is a plus, but not required. A good work attitude is most important.

T.O.S. requests

* 2nd Officer / ROV pilot
* DPO certificate
* Valid STCW 95 documents
* Experience in offshore is an advantage.

T.O.S. offers

* Work / leave schedule : 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off
* Trade : Gulf of Mexico
* Type of vessel : Fall Pipe Vessel
* Excellent terms of employment

Fallpipe vessel?

It’s probably for the Rolling Stone or Seahorse from Tideway.

Had an interview for this job september 2010, but had to say no.

Hopefully they’re better maintained as well.

The Rocky Giant was finally scrapped in 2006.

I would love to know how you would get all of those tickets without getting offshore experience.

I think this must be the new definition of 24 hour shifts. I could also cook and if I stick a broom up my arse I can also keep the ship clean as I walk around it.

Wonder what the rate is 2500 US a day?

They’re not looking for an ROV-pilot, but for a 2nd officer/DPO who is wants to operate the fallpipe-ROV too.
Maintenance is done by engineroom crew and the ships electrician.
I was offered to do a DP-course.
