Are you sure Acergy staff are being laid off and not just their requirement for day rate personnel has changed? You would think they would have the right mix of staff and freelance to cope with a changing market. Redundancy still has legal restrictions and obligations.

6% increase in dayrate persona’s since 31st July and continuous til re-evaluation come 31st March 2010

Expected usage o contract staffers to be hi 90 % bracket til forecast re-evaluation March 31st 2010
