    Triton Logging are hiring. Roving but not in the traditional sense.

    I spoke to them about working in Ghana a few years back. I even offered a low day rate, and they said "whoa…that is way more than our budget! We were thinking $23 per hour!"
    Needless to say that was the end of the conversation

    Hopefully they have woken up since then.
    Good luck. It has potential for lots of work.

    Their rates offered were not much different from the offerings for a job in SE Asia a few years back…. sad.

    Yes I had the same reply back from them working in some lakes in the north of Malaysia very near the Thai boarder but the rates were very low I think it was then down to how many logs you cut .

    they offerd me a job in malaysia in 2008 but the rate was pitiful $185 a day at the time iwas getting $400 from OC .
