I hope I’m not breaking any forum rules here with my post, basically I’m looking for ANY offshore work to get myself that first foot in the door to the offshore industry.
Ideally I want to work ROV pt, and I am sending emails out, adding folks on LinkedIn etc as frequently as I can, but until that elusive position comes my way I’m willing to do just about any offshore job I get offered.
I’m an exforces avionics technician, currently in the rail industry, I’ve got a valid medical and done my BOSIET, and obviously I’d like a technical job such as pt or survey ship tech job, but in all honesty id scrub floors to get in and prove myself.
To that end, if anyone reading this has any advice or information for me Nadia wants to share it via pm or on this thread it would be greatly appreciated.
