Just seen this on the net looks like there is a requirement at Bibby Offshore
for " One Rov Apprentice " .
The Apprentice ROV Pilot Technician will be attend specific training courses and period of practical work experience to gain the necessary skills, knowledge and competence to safely perform basic operation, maintenance and repair of ROV systems. A sound understanding of technical procedures, safety documentation and processes will be demonstrated throughout the apprenticeship period. IMCA based competencies will be attained during and continue beyond the apprenticeship. Practical “hands on” experience will form an important and major part of the training and will incorporate all aspects of work likely to be encountered as a ROV Pilot Technician, which in order to give the broadest experience, may be out with the activities of the specialist roles.
