Can you solder, wire up connectors, make up hydraulic fittings, fault find on electrical and hydraulic systems? NVQ/ONC/HNC etc. is more useful for ROV work.
Unfortunately, from experience most people with Degrees etc. can tell you the square root of an orange but cannot peel it 🙂
