E-mail and web access offshore

Dear All,

Do you have access to e-mail on your installation / vessel?

Do you have web access on your installation / vessel?

I remember the days when you had to pay for your once a week phone call and this was shortwave or stratosphere radio. Ropey noisy or what….

PS. I also remember evrybody biung fax machines for home since they could send faxes for free.

Dan,
we have had a dial up line on manned Bass Strait platforms for a couple of years now. You have to supply your own computer though.
A bit slow but it works.
