I didn’t know this crowd were into ROV’s.

They are looking for all grades to run Schilling UHD’s in the GOM

    Sedco,

Looking at their website / employment page, I noted the extremely low pay (US$ 42,000 – 80,000 / year) and said to myself, "Self, looks like another fire sale within a year or 2…"

I don’t know but would say that those are the rates on the marine side.
A 1600 ton Master is only being offered $500 to $580 a day on that site.

I’d imagine they would be forced to pay market rates for ROV personnel.
That being said I wouldn’t have a clue what the market rates are in the GOM.

Come to think of it I did run into a few Yankee Supervisors in West Africa last year who thought that they were on a great deal on $600/day so perhaps the rates are low over there.

Some how a little strange add.

According to the pictures and story C-Innovations owns a Schilling UHD ROV, but when looking at the press releases of Schilling they have never delivered to C-Innovations.

Then there are the 2 email addresses. If you use these for looking for a website you end up on a website of Marine Technologies, a manufacturerof dp systems or on the website of Edison Chouest Offshore.

The telephone numbers don’t belong to any of these companies as far as I can see.

Justin Getzinger seems to work for Edison Chouest Offshore.

    Rons,

Anywhere below or south of Interstate 10 can be considered "different".

    Sedco,

You were correct in one. Apparently, the rates are abysmal.

Looks like the rovworld grapevine was on to this 8 months ago.

    Good effort.
