it looks like my post yesterday in reply to the ‘triton xlx personnel required’ was deleted for some reason. Maybe LeighHPRUK didn’t like the fact that I stated that it was for TECHNIP. Can’t see the problem in people getting as much info as possible.
Anyway it is for TECHNIP
You would think it was a big secret considering that technip have had the Normand Pioneer for 10 years and that their new build is the skandi artic. Get a grip.

I wasn’t slagging off the company or the agency, just adding what I thought was more info to the post that is all.
I didn’t realise big brother was watching. Thats the George Orwell version not the channel 4 sh*te.

Should respond to the job on offer by PM or email. Do not simply reply to a post as you may not receive a response.
- Should not start a debate in this section about the merits of a certain agency, or start a discussion about a job on offer.
- Wishing to discuss an agency or a certain job being advertised should do so by starting another thread in the Employment Discussion section.
Note:
In an effort to keep this section as functional as possible any posts that fall outwith the guidelines may be deleted without notice. It’s pretty clear what the guidelines state. I’ve highlighted the relevant part of the guidelines for you in this colour
Yes, you can discuss companies or jobs advertised, but not by replying to any posts in the job sections. Discuss that kind of thing in the employment section as you have done by starting this post in that very section. 100% correct.
best regards

I am now going to have to modify each README in each employment section and add… or reply to so that it is more obvious what what the guidelines are trying to achieve.
As a bit of background these guidelines are in force to prevent the type of forum debilitating discussions that were taking place in those sections. It was turning into a bun fight/open season for slagging off individuals and companies. That has now stopped.
The job sections and those that advertise will always be protected in this manner.
Recently a job was deleted because the advertiser (not named) did not supply anywhere near the minimum contact or job information, as advised in the guidelines.
This clearly demonstrates the the guideline are imposed across the board and not aimed at any particular user or user group.Update: The changes to the guidelines have been made. There is now no doubt as to the outcome should someone reply to or start a discussion in any of the employment boards.
This of course does not apply to the employment discussion board.
(The name is a give-away there)
best regards

Yep, I can. Just need to keep tabs on jobs as they are posted. I’ll try to do that. I would have thought you could do that also… maybe a few PM’s on the subject?
