    Does anyone know what ROV companies have work in the Falkland Islands or otherwise South Atlantic (Specifically Argentina)? Any leads on agencys that may deal with this area?

    Err, if they are working in the Falklands they wont be working anywhere near Argentina 🙂

    The Ocean Guardian had Fugro onboard when they were there, dont know if its still there or not.

    Thanks Rayshields, its actually not as hostile as it used to be. LAN actually has direct flights from Rio Gallegos to Mount Pleasant once a month. What kind of work was the Ocean Guardian doing?

    Have a read in any websites or journals dealing with news from that part of the world and you may find the news / info you are looking for. For example, try starting with the news feeds in this website as well as Ron’s ROV links. The world is your "oyster" after that….. Happy surfing.

    Thanks guys, good information.

    Im not trying to clutter up the site, but if rayshields has actually been there, a first hand account from a field hand is often more relevant than many published articles, especially in a relatively obscure area that doesnt get a lot of press, even in industry rags.
