Fugro Chance have been ranked within the β€œTop 100 Military-friendly Employers for 2010.” GI Jobs, a military to civilian transition publication and website catering to military job seekers with a monthly circulation of 80,000, selected Fugro for its seventh annual list, drawing from 5,000 US companies.

How can they "win" this for 2010 when its only now just 2010 and surely haventy taken anyone on this year yet??

Any truth in the rumour that Aberdeen are to change their name to Fugro RAFtech? LoL πŸ˜€

How does Fugro Chance taking on lots of ex military equate to them taking ROVs to Iraq?? Apart from that is Fugro Middle Easts patch and Chance would not be taking on contracts there.

It means Chance have been taking on people who have LEFT the military. Rather like Fugro in Aberdeen who have a large percentage of ex Royal Air Force personnel. The Services are a logical recruiting ground for personnel who halready have the technical qualifications and experience and is the nearest we have left to apprenticeships these days. Makes sense.

More like the RAF lads are used to crap money , long trips overseas and are "yes men for the office" πŸ˜€

    Hmmm,

Most of the ex-forces lads I know are on the same rates as everyone else at whatever grade they happened to be at. They also say what they think, and are quite happy to work hard on long trips and get the job done, the same as most other people in this industry.

As always there are exceptions to every rule πŸ™„

    Enjoy,
