😕 Howdy gang,
Hope all is well on and offshore? I’ve been out of the business for about 15 years now and am trying to get back in. I had a total of 4 years seismic survey, 2 years diver/tender and 7 years of ROV and manned subs during late 80’s thru 93.
With this past experience and still being in good shape, still having common sense and a good work ethic, I’m having difficulty finding work. I’ve recently taken two weeks of XLS system training at Perry as a refresher but no takers yet?
I heard stories of "experienced and trainees" doing stupid things offshore, yet I’m having trouble getting my foot back in the door. i know it’s just going to take a job or two to get back into the groove but does anyone have any other ideas for getting work? Will I have to wait until all the experienced guys are out offshore? Thanks for any info you can provide!!
