MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a newly created position which reports directly to the Managing Director of i-Tech. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing the global engineering capability of the i-Tech organisation. The main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:-
Leading a global and multi disciplined team of Engineers serving our ongoing tooling operations and developing the intervention business within a focused business line.
Identify applications for existing and new technologies
Communicate best practice through the team and company
Develop tooling and intervention strategies in conjunction with i-Tech Global Management
Lead HSEQ performance within the team and support operations on the safe use of all intervention equipment
Develop critical suppliers for the manufacture or supply of in house designs
Develop and enhance client relationships to assist with identification of needs and innovate solutions
Maintain awareness of industry innovations
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Business/Technical Skills & Educational Attainments :
Candidates should be a Graduate in a relevant engineering discipline
Should have extensive experience in ROV tooling and intervention, preferably in a similar management role
Interpersonal Skills:
Must have exceptional oral and written presentation skills and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external audiences.
Must be able to take responsibility for and be a part of a team.
Previous experience of effectively leading a team in pursuit of common goals.
Self motivated and able to operate with little supervision.
