As above, Is facial hair excptable offshore or is it just an excuse for the lazy and unwashed or those who feel they can’t ware facial hair at home, due to peir pressure or the wife/Gf not liking it ruff 😕 .

It makes no difference apart from when you are working in any situations or jobs where you may have to don breathing gear if working in a Shallow Gas/H2S job.

Yes a Groucho Marx’s painted on moustache would qualify.

Any facial hair that gives you a wee chuckle and brightens up your day, like a good old fashioned Victorian Handlebar moustache, which as been carefully looked after and waxed then teased out, or just one big mass of hair hanging from toplip to chin, although loved by there owner and quite rightly so, they help to cheer up a fleating moment in your day.

It sure seams to be a catching trend, some lazy mucker leaves his wiskers for a day or two and before you know it, you’d have thought you had changed boats over night, with some of the crew looking like Brain Blessit, Santa and a bunch of 3rd world religious followers.
