Hi guys, newly joined although I’ve silently creeped around the site for a few months now.
I’m a mechanic to trade, 12 years experience as a mechanic, 5 at master tech status and as foreman, currently working offshore in Denmark as part of the Dong Siri caisson repair project as hydraulic tech/mechanic
Today received a phone call from fugro regarding rov pilot tech trainee position, and have an interview on Friday! This is something I wasn’t expecting seeing as I applied last feb! It was then followed up by a phone call from another subsea company offering me a position as hydraulic/mechanical tech that I was interviewed for last week, Sod’s law all the interviews and offers come at once!
Anyway I’ll stop blabbing for now and let you guys know how I get on, keep up the great site and topics, if learned a lot about the industry from these forums and I’ve barely scratched the surface
