    Dear All,

    Here is another interesting topic.

Has any of you guys worked with a minimum ROV attached to a WROV or WROV Garage?

    How was it to fly?
What currents could it work in?
Did it’s operation interfere with the WROV
    Any big No no’s ,

I have been asked to look into this for Pipelay touchdown monitoring.

    Any thoughts or Ideas welcome.

Used an eyeball that was housed in the skid of a heavy work class ROV. Used to guide the BOP onto the tree. Eyeball positioned on a 90 deg heading relative to the WROV. Provided two pics to guide the BOP down.

No issues with electronics or electrics. Plug and play. No extra crew required. One pilot on the ROV and one on the eyeball. Supervisor supervising.

Worked with Oceaneerings Minimum many moons ago.

Suppose the idea was there, execution left a lot to be desired though.

Didn’t get the chance to use it in anger because of this.

Does bring up the the question as to how much kit 3 people on shift can safely use and maintain.
