Norway Cable Job (tax paid!!)

Hi All,

I have a job going out to Norway:

– Cable lay
– Using Phoenix ROV
– Starting Stavanger on the 3/10 (Next Tuesday)
– 25 days
– PT1 day rate £280
– Supervisor day rate £310
– As cable will accept STCW/OPITO and ENG1/UKOOA

The rates I have quoted are gross as the client will cover the Norwegian tax.

Robbo, I dont think you pay Norweigan tax on cable jobs, but I could be wrong..

Norwegian tax is only applicable if the work is oil or gas related.

Maybe thats why the Client is willing to pay the tax – sounds good but its cos they wont need to pay it!
