Norwegian Tax Returns Deadline for filing

Yeah, I just received mine through the door, we went into Stavanger for a crewchange and they’re after tax for that days pay.

Sod them, we were in transit, not working.

Ray.. are you saying that they appear to be taxing you for any days in Norway as opposed to day working offshore?

They appear to be taxing me for the day we arrived in Norway for a crewchange, only time I was in Norway was when I was on the Ernest Shackleton and after working for Total we went into Stavanger to get ready for the next project.

It looks from the amount they are saying I earned that they are taxing me for the 3 days we were alongside between projects and then crewchange. Im sure its only when the vessel is carrying out the work you are supposed to be taxed. Of course their information id dependent on what the Company tells them.

And they have known to get it wrong before – one time in 1995 I was taxed Norwegian tax for a weekend I spent in Peterhead!
