This gets very weird, I have now had more answers. The one below is from the safety centre in Rotterdam and contradicts every other info I’ve had.
I’m leaving it up to my agency and S7, when they send me they can put me on the course. I’m door to door, no problem.

It depends were you attended this BOSIET course as most training centers are applying the OLF acceptance within this BOSIET course. As per the first of January last year OLF withdrawn the possibility for training centers outside Norway to apply the OLF approval, there for an OLF approval can only be issued via a training center that is actually located in Norway.
OLF is indeed accepted in Canada however the expiry date for this certificate is 3 years instead of the standard 4 years. In case you’d like to attend an OLF upgrade we would advice to attend our 2 day refresher course, the so called Further Offshore Emergency Training.
