PDM Neptec Job Vacancy: Inventory Assistant (full-time)
PDM Neptec Ltd is a subsea engineering company based in Alton Hampshire, which supplies underwater connectors, cable harnesses and associated products and services for harsh environments. The company is seeking to recruit a full-time Inventory Assistant who will report to the Purchasing & Stores Manager.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
• Fork lift truck driving
• First Aid
• Previous inventory experience.
Applicants should be resourceful, accurate and hard working.
Responsibilities include stock control – maintaining an organised cable inventory, free issue area and general stock; ensuring goods are stored in accordance with Health and Safety; carrying out regular inventory counting and management to ensure no stock-outs, and liaising with Production Planning and Control to anticipate stock levels and requirements. Additional duties include general inventory duties; goods received; inspection; packing and despatch.
