Gents bit of a odd one,
We require two candidates for the position of Pumpman in Nigeria. Rotation is 5 weeks on 5 weeks off, Salary is negotiable.
Preparation of oil cargo loading, transfer, and offloading/export operations.
· Conduct manual sampling of oil cargoes.
· Conduct routine ullaging and sounding routines.
· Assist with the monitoring and operation of the oil cargo pumping system.
· Assist with the monitoring and operation of the diesel oil transfer systems.
· Assist with the operation of deck hydraulic systems for cargo operations.
· Assist with the operation of the inert gas system.
· Assist with the operation of the oil cargo metering system.
· Assist with the operation of the cargo, bunker void, cofferdam and ballast tank venting system.
· Assist with the operation and control of ballast operations.
· All aspects of first line maintenance for deck and cargo equipment maintenance including greasing and lubrication routines.
· Assist with cargo tank alarm testing, level control checks etc. as they relate to the cargo system.
· Assist in Crude Oil Washing operations.
· Assist with preparation for confined space entry.
Assist with bunkering and diesel oil transfer operations from a supply vessel
Assist with deck activities as required.
It is essential that the successful candidate has served as a Pumpman on Oil Tankers, or a similar capacity such as outside operator on FPSO/FSO operation or offshore installation for 2 years. It is desirable that the candidate already holds an Offshore Survival Course certificate.
