    Due to internal promotion Subsea 7 have an excellent opportunity for an experienced project manager looking for a career move to one of the world’s leading subsea companies. The role will be to be responsible for a team of around 5 ROV Superintendants/project managers ensuring operations run smoothly, safely and to budget.     Position Overview

    Fulfilment of the ‘Operational’ critical success factors of Safe Operations, Maximised System Up-Time and Maintenance/Repair Budget Control for assigned ROV Systems is the primary responsibility of the F&E ROV Manager.

    Reporting Relationships

    The Fleet & Equipment ROV Manager reports to the Fleet & Equipment Global ROV Manager.
    Assigned Fleet & Equipment ROV Superintendents report to the position.

    Responsibilities (all with respect to assigned F&E ROV Superintendents)

    •Establish and maintain such systems of control and assurance as are necessary to ensure that ROV Operations are delivered in line with the Company’s corporate objective of, "an incident-free workplace, everyday, everywhere"
    •Define and document the roles and responsibilities for all positions within the Offshore ROV Crew structure.
    •Through participation in appropriate forums, develop an understanding of upcoming Project Works. Ensure that ROV Superintendents are briefed on and given sufficient notice of these upcoming Works. Project-specific and/or non-standard ROV equipment and interfaces will require particular focus to ensure that they are available and tested at the Worksite in time for Project start.
    •Ensure that, where Project-specific and/or non-standard ROV equipment is utilised, or planned to be utilised, a Task Risk Assessment (TRA) has been carried out and documented which covers the safe use of such equipment.
    •Ensure that, where Project-specific and/or non-standard ROV equipment is utilised, or planned to be utilised; sufficient spares, and consumables are available at the Worksite to support operations using such equipment.
    •Ensure that Maintenance & Repair Budget management, for assigned ROV Systems, is aligned with of the critical success factors given in the ‘Position Overview’ above.
    •Participate in routine reviews of Maintenance & Repair Budgets with Offshore Resources Finance and Global ROV Manager.
    •Assume role as initial Operational/Technical point-of-contact for Business Acquisition Teams.
    •Assume role as second-line Operational/Technical point-of-contact for Project Teams and Offshore Crews.
    •Provide oversight of Planned Maintenance System execution, including an ongoing review of PMS Execution Standards.

    Attributes / Skills Required / Sought

    •Highly developed interpersonal skills
    •Ability to self-manage, including flexibility around work-hours profile in light of operational nature of position.
    •Disciplined and systematic approach to workload management with proven ability to prioritise tasks.
    •Excellent written communications skills are essential, with an aptitude for report writing desirable.
    •Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

    Experience and Education

    •Previous experience within Oil & Gas Engineering Contractor, or similar essential.
    •Previous experience of ROV Operations (Onshore and/or Offshore) would be essential.
    •Educated to HNC/HND / Degree level, time served or equivalent with relevant industry experience.
    •Previous team management experience
