    Does anyone know the start up power requirements for a seabat 7125 – I’m putting together a survey package and can’t get the bloody pages up on the interweb!. 😡 😡 😡

    Seabats normally take a lot of startup/peak power. According to the 7125 leaflet the head consumes 58W when powered from the surface unit.
    I guess you need a single psu of appr. 150W for one Seabat head.

    Be aware that the 7125 uses 48VDC

    On our latest sub we’re using a single 48VDC/900W Vicor psu to power 3 Seabat 7125 heads.
