    Probably a silly question but just making sure before I book a trip to Ireland.

    Is Ireland classified as outside of the UK in the eyes of HMRC!?

    Yes, Ireland is outside of the United Kingdom for tax purposes as is the Isle of Man.

    Don’t go to Northern Ireland though, that is part of the UK!
