    Hello all,

    Yes, we survived the 4th of July. . . . 😆

I am new to the industry and have been searching for any useful info. regarding the use of ROV in oceanography research and hydrographic survey. I know about UI’05 in “Nawleans” next year-(my wife & I plan to attend) and have talked with a Hawaiian Co. (http://www.oicinc.com/) regarding their products.

Does anyone know of any other seafloor mapping softwares or systems (industry standards) that are worth learning and will be utilized in the next 20-30 years as an ROV pilot/scientist?

Just trying to keep up with the industry and be prepared for the future!

    Thanks in advance,

    Thanks James,

Those sites are pretty cool and I appreciate the quick response!

If anyone else gets the urge to forward interesting or pertinent

info/advice/tips relative to the prior inquiry, please feel free . .

. . and be blunt about it; if something seems to be problematic/dated
and /or have a large margin of error, just say so.
I like and appreciate the direct approach.

    Thanks again . . .
