If you are unlucky enough to find yourself in Scalloway, head to Lerwick if you want to find any reasonable pubs. The kiln Bar is one of the most miserable pubs in the wole world.
The nightlcubs are probably best avoided though especially the foul North Star. Posers above the Grand Hotel or ‘Somewhere else’ where the old country clubs are probably slightly better, well cleaner anyway but all are full of little kids.
The pubs and clubs in Shetland are not among its plus points
