    Guys,
Looking for sim software which takes in flying, manip op’s, tooling and TMS, and can also adjust for conditions, ie current etc.
Anyone heard of or come across such a package recently??

It really depends whether you want a video game or a full blown simulator, or something in between, obvioulsy the price tends to increase from the game end to the simulator.

The group I work for has a company within it called VMAX, which sells a very feature rich ROV simulator. If you need any more info. please feel free to e-mail me at martin.wareham@f-e-t.com and I can pass on your details to them.

Or you could contact them direct via the web site.

    Hope this helps 🙂

Besides budget there are other factors to consider, including:

    – How will you use the simulator? (training, mission rehearsal & planning, vehicle / tool design, etc.)

    – What sort of training program will it be used in? (self help, company wide, IMCA approved course, etc.).

    – What vehicle(s) will be simulated?

Our ROVsim Pro and ROVsim O&G focus primarily on pilot training and, although they cost on the lower end of the spectrum, employ the very latest and most advanced 3D graphics and physics technologies available. ROVsim simulators are being used by over 60 training facilities in 20 countries.

There’s a sample video on the ROVsim O&G page of one of the new missons that will be released in our next update: http://marinesimulation.com/?page_id=15

And a partial list of a few of the companies/organizations using our simulators: http://marinesimulation.com/?page_id=6

If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to drop us a line.

    Best regards,
