I have read and now understand what you say and yes thats quite the norm these days and many complain about it and rightly so in my humble opinion.
What I am proposing will only allow people into our association who meet the set out criteria that is easily checked .
If friends nieghbours cousins brothers etc want in then all they have to do is fit the rules and no exceptions.
