    Dear Savante,

We used to use them for the Perry Voyager ROV, after a lot of problems early 1990’s with bearings and other Perry supplied power circuits.
Late 1990’s we had new bearings and new Power circuits and the motors worked really well. However by the time Perry acknowledged that there was a problem and eventual changes made the Voayger ROV was left like a dead duck.

The vehicle was far too expensive compared to other vehicles on the market. However saying that, flying it was very good. It felt like a large vehicle in a small body. very steady and responsive.

We used the 120VDC version on a manned submersible "Triton 1000" from US Submarines.
2 were rotating the wrong way (control wiring mixup) from the factory, but they fixed that easily.
The 4 thrusters have been great, with no problems. US Submarines has since used them again on their next build, and appear to be buying more for a new sub.
Going to the 300VDC version would definitely give you more power.
They were quite small, yet powerful for their size.
Good for a small electric vehicle. They are cheaper than other DC brushless thrusters, yet as much as a higher HP hydraulic thruster.
Always trade-offs. Do you want more power, or all electric?

Can confirm that ordering from Norway is fine, tho it did take some time to get answers from the emails.
Equipment arrived on time (not thrusters).
