How do, I also looked into the hydraulic side, there is a short course in Aberdeen that is an introduction to hydraulics, which incidently is also run by an off shoot of bnb college this is held in craibstone, but again is only a introduction course. I’m still not sure that I will do a rov course, I certainly will try to get a trainee position without attending one once i finish my hnc, if that fails I may attend one of the shorter courses available.

    Cheers jonny

For any course you do I would recommend that it is a nationally recognised one, be it HNC, C&G, SVQ, NVQ etc. (as opposed to a certificate of attendance which any trainer can make up).

SO SORRY!!! Didn’t realise it would add an "actual size" photo to the thread.

In future I will be sure to edit pictures before posting on here. Don’t want to irritate the admins now, do I?

Hi guys- sorry for the delay in getting back to you – £6.5k for a book – that must be worth it’s weight in gold……..:)

Thanks again Jonny and Ray – will need to look into this some more and make a decision 🙂

    Cheers all 🙂
