    Tooling Technicians Needed

    Starts end of May – Norway and Egypt.

    1.0 PURPOSE

    The following job description provides a statement of responsibilities and activities associated with the relevant position. The company expects each individual to participate enthusiastically and in a professional manner to achieve a high standard of work.

    2.0 INTRODUCTION

    The position of the Tooling Technician reports directly to the ROV Supervisor.

    3.0 RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    The responsibilities of the Tooling Technician shall include, but are not limited to, those contained in the following:

    3.1 SAFETY

    • Ensure that you are fully aware of the Safe Operating Procedures concerning the relevant ROV tooling equipment.

    3.2 OPERATIONS

    • Responsible for adhering to the Company’s Safe Operating Procedures.
    • Responsibility for the maintenance and operation of the ROV Tooling (torque tools, Jupiter systems, pump skids, cutters, etc.) onboard.
    • Ensure that tooling is maintained and available when required
    • To be conversant with relevant tooling equipment and conditions of the contract
    • Ensuring that necessary documentation is completed and filed as required by the contract and Quality Assurance System.
    • Close liaison with the Supervisor and other Crew members.
    • Attend briefing prior to every dive.

    3.3 MAINTENANCE

    • Responsible for the servicing and maintaining the tooling equipment.
    • Ensure that all preventative maintenance and repair work is logged and filed as per Company’s Quality System and Operations Manual.

    3.4 SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS

    • Assist with any technical developments or suggestion that will enhance the overall technical and operation capabilities of the ROV System.

    3.5 INVENTORY

    • Assist in keeping the Tooling Equipment Inventory up to date and maintained as per the Offshore Inventory Control System. (OICS)
    • Assist with ensuring that all necessary spare parts are available and fit for purpose.

    Applicants must have 5 years experience in similar role as well as experience working with tools mentioned below:-

    (1) Torque Tools 17D class 2,3,4
    17H medium or high

    (2) Worked on TDU Systems

    (3) Experience required on various control systems (Jupiter control System)
    o Setting-up intelligent valve packs, etc
    o Confident with Hydraulic systems

    (4) Experience working with and maintaining subsea cutting equipment
