    Hi guys,

This is starting pay for a big company:

The starting salary for this role is £19,350 per year with an additional onshore day rate of £48and offshore day rate of £96.

Is this correct? it seems really low.

Mate who is this for and where?
To me it seems ok as long as you can hit 185 days away + then it would equate to £200/day.

This is about right as a Trainee Pilot Tech.

If you work, say, 150 days offshore in your first year (you will not do 6 months offshore in your first year…) this means you will get £33,750, not bad for less than half the year AND as a Trainee…

All these big figures you see getting thrown about are for people who have been doing it a long time (plus many figures are exaggerated)

I’d take it! Especially if it meant getting trained and earning a living at the same time.
