Trainee ROV help.

Hi,

Looking for some help and pointed in the right direction. I’m 26, left school at 16 and worked as a mechanic at the shipyard for 3 years went offshore as a motorman at 19 for 3 years. I have for the past 4 years been roughnecking.

I have finally decided to pursue something i have a keen interest in and would like to have a new challenge. I have looked into and done my homework into ROVS, i have a mechanical-ish, back ground. I have all my offshore certs in date. Offshore life suits me well. I’m 26,

What i would like to know is, is there any courses that can help me get a start? Any to avoid? Or anyone in here in a position to help? Any help is appreciated so hopefully get some decent feedback and not the usual ‘your wasting your time’ cheers!! 😀

Dont waste money on training course ,, many have closed and others are just a waste of your savings ,, many guys out htre with course certificates no money and no job
best is to be taken on as a trainee with a company ,,
