To be confirmed, but it’s looking like TS Marine in Aberdeen, UK will be closing shop.
TS Marine, Perth, Australia became an independent entity a few weeks ago, so they are a different ball game.
Anybody got some further information or confirmation? 😕

Which company’s vessel is the flower? Would it be the Normand Flower?

scratch last, i thought they had the flower, but can’t see it on their site anymore.

Doesn’t the UK mob have a large contract to conduct decommisioning jobs this year (different clients, single program??) Has that work program finished??

Its a shame, is their sils system going to head downunder too?

No idea, just know that Technip have the charter of the Normand Flower for North Sea projects at the moment. Not sure whos systems are on it though as it isn’t their own, possibly ISS or maybe TS were / are on board??

The flower was dropped by TSM last year if I remember correctly.

The Etive is now part of a kind of JV with DOF Subsea (Oz).

Evidently the majority of staff in Aberdeen have had their interviews re redundancy and will be informed at the end of the month, Most of the offshore shift supervisors have been taken off salary and offered dayrate.
    🙁
Pity, as when I have been involved in any of their projects they were good to work for.

I agree there because often we were allowed quite a bit of offshore autonomy, unlike many companies these days that try to micro manage operations by email from a desk!
