    Great article from http://www.ARMY.mil about the use of SeaBotix ROVs at dams/hydro facilites in Afghanistan.

    KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Aug. 29, 2011 — U.S. Army divers, at the request of the Afghanistan Engineer District-South, arrived at the district’s headquarters at Kandahar Airfield in early August to help inspect both the Kajaki and Dahla dams. Their plan was to use a remotely operated vehicle, or ROV, to collect data and images of the gate structures, release valves, inlet tunnels and trash racks. (The link below has the full article.)
