Hi Narra,

There is no training as such…just experience, the more you do, the better you get, type thing. Also better to work with people who have experience and learn as much from them as you can.

Hi Narra,

Well there isn’t any real eventing training as its different depending on the job and client requirements. You might the companies who write eventing software such as Coabis may have some courses but it is only software training. I think you are looking more to identify what would need to be evented during an inspection and how to deal with the data youy have collected. This sadly is something that comes best with experience rather than courses.
If you are looking to get in to the inspection industry, target inspection companies as a Trainee Data Recorded and express your interest in working towards your 3.4U certificate. This is a must have for inspectors offshore. bear in mind you shouldn’t atempt this course without at least 2 years on the job experience! If you have good attention to detail and don’t mind talking about boring things for 12 hours a day and then writing reports about them after that, you’ll be fine!
