This was mooted a couple of years ago. Something to do with Saipem being unable to understand why Sonsub paid so much money for "just techs".

I beleive the plan was to use ex-pat supervisors with philipino techs.

Apparently the new Innovators are so good they "wont need expensive ROV techs".

Nae doubt they’ll be on a 8 weeks on, 4 off rotation – if they’re lucky.

They might get the same deal as Saipem’s other Philipinos – 6-12 months on.
