Mechanical Engineer – DUTIES include:
• Maintain knowledge of Subsea new product development in order to seek potential applications for same
• Generation of proposals for subsea products and overall subsea systems for potential clients in the Australia and Asia region.
• Engineering of subsea products for manufacture locally
• Service support of subsea products in the Asia-Pacific region.
• Business development for Subsea products and systems in the Australia
• Management of small projects (proposals, sales orders or service) ensuring that these are executed efficiently and profitably.
• Provide engineering design and support as required in line with Company engineering business processes
• Provide reports of assigned tasks and Estimates To Complete as and when required
• Sign off drawings and documents in accordance with authorised signatories matrix
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Subsea Health and Safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical engineering.
• Company / Departmental Operating procedures
• Commercial awareness of project schedules and budgets
• IT desktop package experience including word processors, spreadsheets and databases.
