    Hey
Another thing I’m interested in everyones opinion.
If I wanted an ROV system for pipeinspection work (cameras, pipetracker, profilers etc) and maybe some light construction/inspection stuff, which ROV would you like to use most.
I’m not thinking of cost, more ease of flying, ease of maintenance, reliability etc.

So which would you choose and why?
    Thanks Carly

    Hi Carly,

Personally I’d go for a Tomahawk or a Comanche (but I am slightly biased as I’m the engineering manager at Forum/Sub-Atlantic ) depending how much light construction you’d like to do, i.e. would you need Schilling Orion manipulators (available on Comanche) or Hydra-Lek manipulators (available on Tomahawk).

The neat thing about Tomahawk is you can buy it ready for a top-hat as well (if you’re not live boating). If you’re attaching a lot of kit to it a top hat may be way to go instead of a garage.

I hope this helps with your school project and if you need anything else drop me a PM.

    Martin
