wind and sea directions

Guys,

I’m having a moment, wind direction is usually read as coming from, i.e. its blowing a South Westerly, meaning it comes from the SW… what about surface currents…? is the direction coming from or heading too….

Wind is where it is coming from, current is where it is going to.
