Digital Edge Subsea are launching a new DVR into the marketplace this
month. It has been designed by offshore personnel with over 30 years experience within the combined ROV and diving industry.

We have made it simple to use and have implimented as many features as
possible that we feel may be lacking in some of the other DVR’s currently
in the marketplace.

The main features are as follows:

Automatic creation of Dive, Video, Photo and Anomaly logs
Digital overlay with video header and onscreen logos
Built-in 4ch video switcher
Jpeg photo snapshots
Creation of video clips during and post dive
Event logging via 20 hot keys or "on the fly" entry
2 x 1.5tb Removable Hard Drives

The DVR is housed in a 4U 19" Rackmount case and comes complete with
cordless mouse and keyboard.

This thread was setup for interesting websites that is related to our industry. Also this site carries adverts also relating to the industry to maintain the site, quite rightly so.
It is a portal of information and again quite rightly so.

Id have to say its far from being off topic. I find the peripheral info that can be used on any system invaluable, especially since we are paid for what we know. The more you know the better placed you are to be able to overcome any problems in whatever system you are working on….or to better it. 😀
