A major CMS update release is now available to us. Once applied this will see improvements in forum functionality and other aspects of the site. The template and colours/theme should remain pretty much as we are used to. RSS feeds will continue as before for those that use them.
On our side it will see a lot of headaches and burning the midnight oil sorting out all the bugs/glitches that are bound to occur. We’ll try and knock out all the bugs on the test site before going live.
Full backups will be taken (to fallback on if need be), and due notice given, prior to making the switch over to the upgraded content management system.
It’ll be a few days yet before we make the switch.
It could all in in beers.. or tears.. one of the two 😉
