    1. Same can be said for American agencies.

    2. This has nothing to do with an agency.

    3. Of course. The Jones Act applies to US waters and ports only. So if you’re working for a non-American agency and working outside the US the Jones Act doesn’t apply.

    4. Same for an American agency.

    Conclusion: If you’re an American (Yankee) work in your your own country and coastal waters.
