James….. James ……… PUUUULEEEZZEE forgive this digression, degrerssion, de-evolution, and in Lost’s case( ahairy-nairy bear – had to say it !!! Thanks for the posts. I can’t stop chuckling. Yes, it is ridiculous, but then isn’t the sense of humour of most offshore guys ridiculous?

C’mon James, you have to recognise the fact that the guys out there need a ridiculous sense of humour to counteract their abilities.

Even Einstein had a ridiculous sense of humour.

I have found roger!! he is on the beach in Durham town waiting on a call to go offshore and make a fortune after doing a rov course (some time ago) 😈

I recognise Roger.

He has not yet done an ROV course. But, he has got pissed in a pub with some ROV guys he met that day.

This should make him able to be a pilot tech on his first trip and most likely a sub engineer soon.

Roger used to run a fish and chips shop and is familiar with deep fryers. He can also set a burglar alarm.
