I would consider yourself lucky, I can’t remember the last time I was on a vessel that had the luxury of a spare cabin, that had a dance floor.

Why were you going into an unused cabin!

Hell, if there’s a spare cabin with a dance floor….

pick up one of the floatation buoys, break a mirror and glue the bits on the surface. Tie the buoy to the centre of the roof and shine the torches on it.

If you wanna be real fancy, empty the TSS stores cabinet and take the celophane coloured anti-static wrappers from spare boards and then filter the torches.
