    they’d be worth buying just for poops n giggles !!

    Hell I’d take one just for throwing in the local lake.

    Or as some companies in the past and present, throw one in with a workclass spread for FREE! (until it is used…) Another reason for rates problems I suspect.

    When we were initially looking at micro ROVs, I called a friend of mine who operates a variety of ROVs and has extensive experience with them. I asked him "VideoRay or Seabotix."

    His answer was this: The ROV is a tough little workhorse and the Seabotix is like a finely tuned scientific instrument.

    I decided that I wanted something that I didn’t have to worry about keeping ‘finely tuned’ to operate. There is nothing worse than working on an ROV to get in back in the water with a client standing over you watching you tinker with the unit to ‘make it work.’

    So we went went with VideoRay.
